Thank You, Sir Isaac Newton

Good evening, my loves!

So I was schooling today and in a science lesson (I'm studying Sir Isaac Newton and mass and gravity) and came across this explanation of mass. In response to a previous blog, Me and the World, isn't that so true.

Scientifically, our mass- compared to the mass of other common objects around- us is large. That's why we don't feel a tug from those objects, pulling us in (like how the planets are pulled to the sun by gravity). But our mass compared to the earth is smaaaaaall. We notice the earth's gravity because earth's mass is far greater than our own. -Let me repeat that: earth's mass is far greater than our own.- In turn, the gravitational force acting between relatively small objects is not as strong. That's why books, cars, and dogs are not drawn toward you, and that's also why you don't slide into the person sitting next to you.

Hmm, so in other words: we aren't the center of the world?? Big shock.

Thank you, science, for backing me up on this one.

What do Your Kick Back Times Look Like?

I sure do hope you are doing well on this fine Thursday night! The week is coming to a close and that long awaited weekend is gently approaching. Internet Transfer

Hey-lo there!

Just to let you guys know in advance, I am in the process of getting my Internet transferred over to another provider over these next few days so that means that for the next few days I will be Internet-less. Further more, no IotaDaily. :(  The guy is scheduled to come on Wednesday afternoon to give me back Internet again, so until then- for a person who gets her TV through the Internet (Hulu rocks)- I will be watching a lot of movies and reading lots of books. Unbelievably November

Happy November, guys!

Can you believe it's November already? I mean, no duh, you look at your calender and see it: November 1st- you have hard core proof showing you that it is, indeed, November already, but can you BELIEVE it? September just about came and went and October was pulled out right from under our fashionable Halloween capes, and then now here we are. Unbelievable!

... You know, except from the hard core evidence the calender brings to the table. Then, it is completely believable, as we covered before.

*Sigh* It seems words cannot describe the discontentment I feel as the end of the year approaches.



Oh how you lie, calender,
It most certainly does not feel like November....
