Okay, so is everyone familiar with those pesky word verifications? You know, the things that make you type in words after you write all your comments on Daily Dose? Yes? Well, I never knew what the reason was for this inhumane act of tediousness, so I took a little field trip! (Really, it wasn't anything special- I Googled it. :/ )

As it turns out, those jumbled up letters are actually a spam test. You can't just post anything, from anywhere because if a post accidentally got an unwanted buddy attached to it, it could shut the whole website down! I know, what would you do without Daily Dose? Well, you do not have to worry because we've got backup! Next time you are complaining about "GDERFFLE" in funky, smushed together text, remember that it's just Daily Dose's way of saying "We are looking out for you!"
P.S. While attemping to respond to a comment, the word-question I got for my "sobriety test": doping!
